Gregory Alexander Arrested

I see it announced at the USCF that Gregory Alexander was arrested earlier today. This is believed to be in connection with an alleged conspiracy with Susan Polgar (alleged by the USCF) that they conspired to hack into USCF Executive Board Member Randy Hough's private e-mail account.

There is 110 counts against him. Conviction on just a few of these counts could lead to 35 years in prison. Gregory is the webmaster of this site.

Folks are reminded that people are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

This news is very sad. My thoughts and prayers go out to Gregory and his family. It is a a sad thing when someone trying to help gets caught up in the whole mess.

Appears Jack is wrong and there are only 34 counts. I believe Jack got 110 from the USCF suit in SF against Susan and Gregory plus some John Does. Why the number dropped from 110 I would like to know. 34 is quite a few and could results in a long sentence.

The first report on USCF forums by Harry Payne incorrectly listed the number of counts as 110.

No connection to Polgar as falsely claimed by the USCF. Also agreed that innocent until proven guilty.

It's sad. But this is from the US Department of Justice:

Please note, an indictment contains only allegations against an individual and, as with all defendants, Mr. Alexander must be presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

I really like Gregory as a person. I believe he is innocent and I hope he gets off. Even if he were guilty I think it was no crime. Gregory is a good guy. He should get a medal not get arrested. What a shame. Hope no one minds me borrowing a comment from some one else I accidently found in Icky Stuff. I was wondering what Icky Stuff was and found this.
